About us
Two brothers from Jalisco, Jose Guadalupe Sanchez, and Serafin Sanchez, arrived in California in the 70s in a search for a better life full of hopeful anticipation and excitement. They worked at restaurants their entire lives, but in 1991 Jose rented a restaurant called Casa Alvarez. Serafin had the idea of buying it outright because he saw potential and without much more thought Casa Sanchez was born. The responsibility was split in half; Jose took the kitchen and created the dishes while Serafin took over the waiters/waitresses and customer service. Thank you to everyone for your loyalty throughout the years. We would be nowhere without you.
Originarios del estado de Jalisco, los hermanos Serafin y Jose Guadalupe Sanchez llegaron a California en los anos setentas en busca de una mejor vida, llena de ilusiones y con muchas ganas de trabajar. Todo el tiempo trabajaron en restaurantes, pero fue hasta 1991, despues de rentar por un ano el restaurante antiguamente llamado Casa Alvarez, Serafin tuvo la idea de comprarlo porque el veia potencial. De esta manera, sin mucho preambulo empezo Casa Sanchez. Jose era el encargado de la cocina y Serafn encargado de las meseras. Gracias a todos nuestros clientes por su lealtad y preferencia. Sin ustedes, no estariamos adonde estamos.
